USA: Earth2Tech has maps showing where to find green technologies in the USA. I see no marine energy systems yet, but this front should be opening up pretty soon?
Still in the USA, on the US Department of Energy – Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy site, the Hydrodynamic Testing Facilities Database shows test sites and capabilities for Marine as well as onshore Hydropower systems.

Atlas of UK Marine Renewable Energy Resources was commissioned by UK BERR and produced by ABP Marine Environmental Research with the Met Office and Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory.
It shows the distribution of potential wind, wave and tidal energy resources
